Photo Album - Meeting the Team for the First Time

 

On a balmy evening in June of 2006, the Team which Tara Upreti had pulled together as volounteers met each other for the first time. Below are photos from the pot-luck dinner and desert which was held in Tara's home.

The Team took up a collection to help a school in Nepal.  They collected over $360 for the Woman's Foundation  to put a roof on the school. Shouldn't all meetings take up a collection?

Food enough for all twenty five people arrived for the pot luck! Two guys and four beautiful women.
Interesting discussions all afternoon and into the evening. The food stopped all conversations for a while.
Something captivating caught the attention of Christine and Marjorie. A meal always brings merriment.

Tara Upreti , a founder of the Women's Foundation in Nepal, is starting another group, Canada Nepal Solidarity for Peace. Tara's smile is contagous.
Tara welcomes everyone to her home. It was a full house with people downstairs and upstairs.
There were reports by each person on what they do for CNSP. Our lawyer, always helpful, was animated in this discussion.
