A Team

What a word! Loved by some and considered worthless by others. These groups of people have been studied, named, mythologized, shoved into descriptive pigeon holes, mimicked in experiential and intellectual exercises. And to what end. If the team works, it is truly amazing. If it does not, very litle can create the magic force which greases the inner workings and spark of a real team.

Our Group

Individuals volunteering at CNSP share some values. They believe that working for justice and humanitarian ideals can make a difference in the world. They share a fundamental belief that people have a basic worth and dignity and when those intrinsic's are violated, it is worth every effort to restore them.

We seldom work together, but the effort of each person is needed to make this organization feasible. Whether it is presenting Power Point programs to the community, developing the actual Power Point program, working on the web site, fund raising, maintaining the computers, advising refugees and immigrants about the process and policies of Immigration Canada, meeting with lawyers, acting as advocates and support people to refugee status candidates, helping people to find and setup homes in a new land, and so much more - we are a team - or a group - or a crew - Yes - a motley crew of highly dedicated individuals willing to offer time and elbow grease to help a fellow traveler in this world, regardless of race, creed, nationality, religion, sexual orientation, age, gender, and on the list goes.

Perhaps we are just the Who So Ever Will Club . . . .

We are CNSP and we are here to help as we can. Want to help? Email us. Tell us about your skills and abilities. We would love to find a place for you at CNSP.
