Nepali Children: Index

Finding Food in the Mud
This description provided by Renu Sharma of The Women's Foundation of Nepal . . .
There are two pictures where children are trying to find something in the mud. They are children who have no food in their family. Their parents can earn only enough to support the family for three months each year. The rest of the time the children have to help by collecting some food in the forest or in the river or any water they can find. These children are trying to find fish in the puddle of water.
